Bryce Wettstein is a professional skateboarder, amateur skateboarder and full time student living in Encinitas, CA. Bryce is a native to Encinitas within North County San Diego. Bryce is 14 years old and is in 9th grade. Bryce also enjoys volleyball, ukulele, singing, snowboarding and science. Bryce has surfed in the WSA and now in the NSSA & USA Prime tours. Many of Bryce’s surf and skate contests take place right here at the Huntington Beach pier, along with the VANS Park Series every summer at the US Open of Surfing. Bryce hopes to start competing in some WSL Junior Pros & QS surf contest in 2019, time permitting. Bryce rides for Encinitas surfboards & Sticky Bumps surf wax. Bryce has been surfing & skating since she was 5 years old and first learned with her Dad. Bryce has a small backyard wooden bowl and loves sessions there with family & friends, as well as to think of new tricks. Bryce mostly skates Park, Bowl & Vert terrain. She competes in the VANS Park Series, X-Games and World Cup Skateboarding tours every year. She has also competed in the new Nitro World Games, and World Skate Federation contests. Bryce rides for Silly Girl Skateboards, McGills Skateshop, 187 Killer Pads, MOB Grip, Triple 8 Helmets, Lazy Acres Market and Converse. Bryce likes to ride all terrain and all shapes. Bryce has a little sister who also likes to skate as well as her mother and dad who both skateboard and surf. Even though Bryce travels the world competing on her skateboard, which is an amazing experience to have at such a young age, she loves spending time in her hometown, and at school with her local friends too. Bryce loves to eat pasta, pizza and anything chocolate and is also quite the comedian. Bryce’s skateboard has taken her to 4 continents and allowed her to make many international friends, some of whom she considers her best friends. Where will your skateboard take you?
